Applebees

And as it happens so often on a shopping spree, there's not many decent choices available for food. Which leaves me with the only choice of going to applebees (either that or mcdonalds... and you can't really compare).

Wildberry Frozen Lemonade
With the hot weather, a nice refreshing frozen lemonade (wildberry flavoured) was on offer. It looked quite ineresting, and definitely cooling! Only issue was, it was too sour and too sweet... not sure how that's possible, but it does combine the crazy amounts of sugar with sourness.

Signature Sirloin with Garlic Herb Shrimp
In an attempt to try for something healthy, the under 550 calorie option of sirloin with garlic herb shrimp looked like a great choice. The garlic shrimp tasted much better than the sirloin itself... and funnily enough, it was the veges that I preferred over the main. Worth trying (though I really do wonder if this only contains 550 calories... it sure doesn't look it!)

Applebees

Having seen so many applebees around, it had to be time to try one. Wasn't sure what it serves, but its listed as a neighbourhood grill and bar.

Applebees
Advertised as the world's biggest applebees, it was set across multiple floors... and it seemed each floor had a different theme. The room was set out with balloons and artworks across all the walls. What was interesting was the waitresses were all in police-like uniform (although nothing like that in japan).

Kiwi Lemonade
Had to try their special of a kiwi flavoured lemonade. Was really just sugar water that looked green more than anything. Couldn't taste the kiwi (probably over-powered from all the sugar!!) With that much sugar, not sure it was that refreshing... luckily for the ice, it made it better.

Bacon Cheeseburger
Another attempt at burger and fries.... and this was the bacon cheeseburger. As with most places here, burgers are never really bad. It's just not as great or memorable as the special burger stores! Overall, still a nice meal for the middle of the day =)

Next time would more likely come back to try the grill with ribs! Especially seeing people around having ribs, it does make your mouth water... but for a lunch, ribs may just be a little excessive
