Terramare Cafe

I do wonder if it's to do with the cold weather... or maybe it's just nyc... but soups have been something that I have been craving for quite often while here. Good news is, haven't found any bad soups!!

After a decent stroll in Central Park (I am surprised at how "big" this park is...) and struggle in the cold windy weather, found this place not too far away... Best news was that it had soup!! Even better, you could get a soup/sandwich combo! =)

Terramare
Once inside (and out of the cold), it's a nice little cosy place. Not very spacious - but nothing ever is in the big apple - but enough to sit down and relax. It's always enjoyable to daze into what they have on the menu.

Chicken Dumpling Soup
Chicken dumpling soup... one of the specials of the day. Doesn't look that appetising, but sure does taste good enough on this day! Sizing was reasonable, would of preferred more...

Ham and Swiss Cheese Sandwich
Half a ham and swiss cheese sandwich to go with the soup. Nice and crunchy, but definitely would of preferred the cheese to be melted over the ham...

Terramare Cafe
22 East 65th Street (corner of Madison Avenue)
