C&R Cafe

Another simple meal in chinatown (the last before I left actually). This time was for some malaysian at a well known local cafe.

Flat Rice Noodles with Egg Gravy
I opted for the recommended flat rice noodles with egg gravy. Simply known as 滑蛋河. The egg is actually broken and mixed into the gravy =) Quite a large serving, much more than I expected. Somehow during this time away from home, I've started to crave for simple dishes like this!

Char Kway Teow
Char kway teow, another typical malaysian noodle dish. It's always nice to enjoy the little things and not splurge out on fine dining all the time. Maybe a little too oily, but as with all stir fry dishes... it's become normal.

Great value and a satisfying cafe that's definitely worth going to. It's not your traditional malaysian, but close enough to supplement the cravings.
