Kitchenette

A local home cooked style diner, that provides lots of comfort food. The pink polka dots and tin ceilings, along with the homemade tables from salvage doors definitely gives off the cottage feel.

Kitchenette
I'm sure many would love to relax into a little cosy diner, and this definitely has that feel.

Tuscan Hand Cut Fries with Garlic Mayo
Although this is meant to be a side to the main, they provided the option of bringing it out first turning it into like a starter =) Tuscan hand cut fries with garlic mayo! Nothing like fries as perfect comfort food. With the fries still having bits of skin on it, providing a great contrast in texture, definitely great fries.

Pulled BBQ Chicken
With pulled pork being a popular thing in ny, they provided the slightly healthier option of pulled bbq chicken. This was served with collared greens and coleslaw. The pulled bbq flavour is always yummy, and this is no different.

Ice Cream Sandwich
Of course with comfort food, nothing says comfort like dessert. The waitress provided the recommendation of  an ice cream sandwich. Only that this was no ordinary sandwich. Her personal favourite was what I went with, large amounts of strawberry ice cream sandwiched by two massive oatmeal cookies. Really didn't know how to finish this, and a yummy combination.

A place that I know I will come back to, for some quick comforting meals. Nothing like good old comfort food to provide some happiness to the day =)
